Google uses Email 1 - Value and Phone 1 - Value for contact values; Label fields describe categories. The assistant recognizes the corresponding English headers. Select other formats manually.

Select the email and phone Value columns, then see which other columns still contain values. A shared mailbox or switchboard does not prove that two rows belong to the same person.

Find the rows to review in your own CSV.
Open a CSV copy or paste a small table copied from Excel. Include the header and up to 20 contacts, select the pasted format explicitly, then map at least an email or phone column. Your source stays unchanged.
CSV contents are processed in this browser memory only and are not sent to servers or included in AI calls, analytics or persistent storage. Website visitor analytics is a separate optional choice. Clear results or close the page to end the trial. Do not attach contact files to enquiries.
If text is unreadable, change the encoding and read again. XLSX and VCF are not supported. Over-limit files are rejected in full; partial checks are not presented as complete results.

Check every secondary field separately
The trial compares one email and one phone column at a time. With multiple Value columns it leaves the choice to you. Review the excluded columns, change your selection and run the check again. Cross-column comparisons are not included.
Name parts are not combined. Selecting First Name leaves Last Name outside the name comparison display. CSV row numbers are not persistent Google contact IDs.
Keep the original and verify a small copy.
- Export and back up your contacts yourself. Prepare a separate copy with no more than 20 data rows for this trial.
- Read the copy, review header suggestions, map the required columns and inspect the excluded fields.
- Check candidate rows against the source. The tool does not merge, delete or upload contacts.
- Follow Google's import guidance and verify the actual import yourself.
Google uses the header row to map fields, and a row containing entered data can create a new contact. A check with no flagged issues does not establish safe updating or import success.
